A stunning house, but the hospitality was deeply disappointing. The Casona del Alto is truly beautiful, yet Mrs. Lilia’s overly controlling attitude made us feel uneasy even when using the living room. On one occasion she even denied us an espresso, even though we knew capsules were available, showing a surprising lack of generosity. Nothing would have mattered as much if not for what happened after we left. My wife left a watch, which the staff found. Although we offered to cover all return costs, we waited more than two months for promises, excuses, and delays. Only after contacting Booking did we receive concrete instructions to retrieve the item. The most disheartening part was the angry reaction of the person in charge to our legitimate request, instead of a simple apology. A charming property, unfortunately managed with a disregard for true hospitality.

We loved the reception; Lili was very friendly and kind. The view is gorgeous to live by, towels are soft, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast is very tasty and fresh. The place is a bit far from the center, but that doesn’t stop you from exploring the city; Lili explained how the parking works and it was very easy.

The owner Lili is wonderful, super kind and very polite, and the hotel feels like an extremely tasteful mansion. The room is huge and very comfortable. Everything is perfect.

We were delighted by the location. Our stay was wonderful, breakfast great, the room comfortable, and absolute silence. The hotel’s décor is charming, very well thought out. We loved it and would definitely return. The location is a little away from the center, the road is dirt, so if you’re not driving it’s a bit hard to get around. But the view makes up for it.
