The harbor view was lovely, but the room was just a place to stay for the night.

The property needs an overhaul—it feels very outdated and I didn’t feel safe with the front and back doors that lead outside. The cleaning staff do their best with an old building, and everything looks as clean as it can be given the age of the fixtures. The breakfast area and front area were pretty good, but everything still looked dated, and the cost we paid didn’t match the place. Oh sorry, I explained above.

The location was very central, but I received a smoking charge even though I didn’t smoke in my room. I wasn’t called or notified. I had a water bottle with butts because I was collecting them from the group we were with so we didn’t litter. They smoked outside in the same exact spot their staff smoked in, so I think they just assumed I smoked in the room.
