The location was good, yet the room was a nightmare: smoke and chemical odors filled the air, the smoke detector lights flashed all night causing headaches, and the lights cast a glow over the bed blankets that kept me awake; I had to cover my eyes with a small face towel. The neighboring toilet flushed loudly and for a long time, a motor vibration in the ceiling pulsed on and off, and the AC made intermittent noise. The microwave clicked in line of sight and I had to block it, and the bar/sink area light glowed green, so I covered that too. Thin walls let every noise bleed through between rooms and into the hallway, and every hall door slammed shut. To finish, I heard the neighbors doing their business all morning.

The rooms were clean and newer.

The location was fine, but the hotel was under construction, one elevator was broken, and I had to wait for construction workers to use the operating elevator.

The exterior was dirty when walking around, and there was no street light or crosswalk to cross the street.
