Hotel Gloria sits 50 m from its private beach in Lignano Sabbiadoro, offering classic rooms with balconies, air‑conditioning, satellite TV and en‑suite bathrooms with free toiletries. Guests enjoy complimentary beach parasols, deck chairs, a cabin and free bicycles. The on‑site restaurant serves Friuli specialties and a buffet breakfast of cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts and fruit. Free Wi‑Fi, nearby Gulliverlandia aquarium, and paid parking complete the stay.

We stayed here in September 2026 with a partner. The hotel is tiny, only three or four floors and about 33 rooms, but its location is perfect—quiet, green, and just a two‑minute walk to a wide beach with fine sand that we loved. The water is shallow for many meters, which is great for kids. They provide free bikes, and we rode around town, which was amazing. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless when we arrived, with towels and cleaning done daily. On the downside, we only opted for the breakfast plan, and the same limited menu—scrambled and boiled eggs, fried bacon and sausages, one cheese, one salami—was served every single day; a change every two or three days would have helped. The shower cabin was also a problem; at 1.60 m and 55 kg, I could barely shower, and the cabin seemed no larger than 60 cm × 60 cm, even though the bathroom itself was normal. All in all, it was a pleasant five‑day stay.

The location, welcome, cleanliness, and value for money are all great. The bathrooms are a bit small.

The staff were young and friendly, the breakfast was abundant and more than enough, the parking was spacious, and the beach was just a short walk away—highly recommended.
