The location near the harbor is fantastic. We had to wait for our camper, which we shipped to Walvis Bay, and right next to the hotel there are several restaurants that serve tasty calamari and fresh fish. The hotel also has a gym. The dinner was only average and we had to wait about 2 hours for it.

The location is very convenient for day trips, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it’s very close to a top restaurant called Godenfang. The room is okay, but for what you pay it’s not top‑tier. It’s probably in line with local prices, and you have a great spot to plan outings without wasting time. I found the accommodation a bit disappointing, but it’s functional and well‑located.

The breakfast staff were friendly and attentive; I didn’t stay long and only had a coffee and some fruit. My driver was a little late, so when I went back for another coffee they were very accommodating, even though they were busy clearing the area. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t work well at all, which made it hard to stay in contact with my office while traveling for work.

The place is great. Gary and Betty were very helpful throughout our stay, even putting together a surprise on short notice. The hotel has no porter or bellhop and no elevator, so carrying heavy bags up or down is a struggle.
