“Genial, pero se puede mejorar”

The house is beautiful and huge, with plenty of bathrooms, super comfortable beds, and plenty of blankets, radiators, towel radiators, and a lot of throws. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, and a good TV in the living room. The pool is great. The internet might be a bit weak. The kitchen is outside, which can be inconvenient. The barbecue’s smoke vent is poorly positioned; it’s a tiny vent right next to the kitchen, so smoke fills the area if the door isn’t shut, and the smoke is almost impossible to breathe. Water pressure is low, making showering a struggle.

“La casa por el tejado”

There was no hot water while showering, the power flickered every now and then and we had to hit the breaker, the location was awful, it led you to a place that wasn’t what it seemed. The host or hostess, we couldn’t even tell who was who, lived with us and we felt pretty scared.

“Buena casa con lo justito de cariño.”

La casa es correcta para pasar unos días en grupo. No esperes las comodidades de la típica casita rural en la que puedes tumbarte en un sillón a disfrutar de un buen libro. Más bien es un buen lugar para un finde de tenderete. Lo mejor es que cada habitación tiene su propio baño. Y que el precio es correcto. Ten en cuenta que el check in es a las 17.00 h y el check out a las 12.00 h. No esperes detalles pensados para mimar al usuario. No tendrás alfombra para el suelo al salir de la ducha. Tampoco un poco de lavavajillas para fregar la loza. O un paño de cocina. Te recomiendo que lleves papel higiénico. El que dejan en el rollo va justito. Hubiéramos agradecido alguna buena manta más

The house offers comprehensive facilities and different spaces to enjoy together without crowding, and the best part is each room has its own bathroom. There’s a lounge to watch TV, play games, or just eat indoors when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The only issue is hot water; it runs out quickly and for 10 people it’s insufficient, plus the kitchen has no hot water.

The house has potential. It’s located in a part of Tenerife that can get quite cold; arriving at 9 pm and having no hot water until the next day at 6 pm is unacceptable. They told us the boiler was fine and that it would take time for hot water, but after more than 20 minutes of trying it was still nothing. The differentials were skipped and we also lost power. They had to install a new boiler. We thought it was an incident, but past comments show it’s been an ongoing problem, which is unforgivable with three kids in the group. The facilities are poorly maintained: the kitchen stove is blown up, the kitchen and barbecue extractor don’t suck smoke, and cleaning is subpar—on one bed we found a roll of someone else’s hair. In short, a house we liked on arrival turned into a huge disappointment.
