The facilities were tidy and the staff courteous and helpful, but the restaurant’s menu was limited yet flavorful. Service was good overall. However, paying over $500 a night, I expected more. The newly remodeled room’s coffee maker sat in a cramped cupboard that made it hard to reach the controls or refill the reservoir, and one of the two elevators was out of service, causing a frustrating wait. The whole experience felt more like an upgraded motel than a full‑scale hotel.

The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. However, the Urban Destination Charge fees were a real disappointment; we were told we could use them as credit toward meals, which we did, but we didn’t know about the fees beforehand and that we would be charged for two nights, and that unused “meal” credits would be forfeited each day. When I asked the receptionist, she said the policies were “on the website.” These fees (totaling $70) feel like a scam. I won’t stay at the Hilton‑Brooklyn again and would not recommend it because of these charges.

The staff were extremely helpful and available at any time. The location was perfect for me, as I was shuttling between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Food, some stores, and transportation were all within walking distance. I give it a 10/10 and would recommend it.
