KAMBAL LUXURY SUITES

We liked staying in the Jewish Ghetto, close to the beautiful Rome synagogue, many kosher restaurants, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and not far from the Pantheon. The old building is beautiful, and the service that arranged airport transport at the end of our stay was excellent. We didn’t realize Kambal Suites is just one of several businesses at that address, and “Kambal Suites” isn’t displayed above the entrance. The desk isn’t staffed all day, making it hard to get directions around Rome.

“Loved this place.”

The staff were fantastic, the room was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, the location was convenient, it was quiet at night, and I appreciated the breakfast that was delivered in the morning. The only downside was that the twin beds were a little small and the room itself was on the smaller side, but that’s typical in most of Europe and, given all the perks, it was still perfect.

What stood out most was the staff, who were not only friendly but also eager to help with anything; the accommodation was very clean and ideally located. Everything else was fine.

“Great location and nice and safe rooms.”

The location was excellent, the room was tidy, and the staff were easy to deal with. They even offered a reliable ride service that was worth the extra cost. We also liked the reasonably priced drinks in the mini‑fridge. However, there were no washcloths or hand towels, the bathroom door needed sanding, and we had no choice in breakfast items, which meant I ended up wasting half of it because I didn’t like or want certain options. The staff were nice but were not present most of the day; you could reach them via WhatsApp but nobody was at the desk.
