This bed and breakfast feels truly one of a kind. Its spot near Gare du Nord lets you move around easily, yet it’s not in the prettiest part of Paris. The place itself is tucked away from busy streets and noise, essentially a bunch of apartments turned into a hotel. My room was filled with old furniture, mirrors, cozy pillows, and tidy accessories—an interesting mix of vintage and simply old. The host is a wonderful person, very helpful and engaging during breakfast, which he serves himself in a large dining room with mirrors, candles, and (as you might guess) old furniture. Overall, a great unconventional spot with its own unique charm. The older décor means you’re never 100% sure the chair won’t break under you or that the towels are clean (they were). Also, a door connected my room to the next one, so I heard some noise from the neighbors.
