The host sent a video explaining the key handover and check‑in, everything worked perfectly. The idyllic riverside area invites walking, and the recommended restaurant 'Locanda Citadella' is within walking distance.

The spot is genuinely nice right on the Po, and the room itself was fine with good mattresses and a pleasant terrace. Checking in was understandable and helpful, though it didn’t cater well to people with digital issues. What really bothered us was the shower sponge that fell into the drain during use, and the bathroom floor drain had a strong odor. We were also told the breakfast was very basic, and no one from the hotel was present. We prefer direct contact, so that was a let‑down. Additionally, the occasional strong rural smells from outside (manure) and a loud neighbor who insisted on listening to messages at 7:00 am affected our mood.

The rooms were very pretty and clean, the location lovely, the staff kind and helpful, and each room included a breakfast kit.

The location was great, just what we needed. The restaurant food was first‑class, served by a friendly team. Nothing else was an issue; everything else was perfect.
