The staff are welcoming and the reception is open 24 hours. The old building itself is charming, and because it faces Kennedy Park, I could stroll over to the malecon. They even put up Halloween decorations to add a festive touch. I did find the mattress a bit too soft, and the police whistle blaring traffic most nights until the early hours was unpleasant; it’s not the hotel’s fault, just a heads‑up—earplugs help.

The location was fantastic: right outside the door you could hop onto a colectivo and be on the beach in one minute. The hotel was clean, with a nice and tidy outdoor area. I felt very comfortable there, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. :)
