No breakfast, but the room was comfortable. Nothing else to mention.

Parking was great, the staff were good, and everything else was fine.

The location was fine, but the staff were skeletal, the radiator in my bathroom didn’t work for the entire stay, the fire doors were loud and banging, the decor was tired, the bar and restaurant stayed closed the whole time, and I had to leave the carpark to get any food or drink from a separate restaurant in a tent. There was no soap in the gents’ toilets, damp patches and peeling wallpaper in the corridor and room, the main light switch stopped working, the remote control for the ancient TV didn’t work and was replaced with a universal one with no pairing instructions. The Guinness tap on the bar only served cans, and there was a general lack of interest in any of my issues. I asked to change rooms but was told they were fully booked, even though the car park said otherwise.

“Recommended”

Breakfast was fantastic with a choice of cooked/hot food, the location was very convenient for our needs, and there was ample parking available. The hotel looked a bit tired and could use a lick of paint or refurbishment if it’s economically viable for the owners.

The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast quality was good. Our room was on the ground floor with a table and two chairs outside the window that were regularly used by smokers, which impacted our privacy.
