The baths are gorgeous, and the view from the rooms is great too. Everyone on the staff is super friendly and helpful. The walls are very thin and my neighbors were very noisy, so I struggled to sleep and focus.

The staff are friendly and the service is thorough. The room lighting is too dim.

The hotel’s aesthetic feels very old‑school chic. The staff are warm and professional. The onsen facilities are fantastic, and I suggest trying the dinner with a bottle of Masamune.

All the employees were friendly, and from my room I could look down over the Mitsukawa River; a beautiful cherry tree stood by the window, promising a springtime hanami without leaving the room. The outdoor hot‑spring was separate, cold and lukewarm, and the indoor bath was also chilly, with only a single tub, which was disappointing.
