The place was very pleasant, with great breakfasts, free coffee at the reception, and a comfortable room. The only downside was that the pull‑out sofa for two people wasn’t very comfortable.

The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also liked having free coffee and water available 24/7 near the reception, which was a nice touch. The outdoor area was pleasant, but it could get noisy on warm days because of a nearby amusement park and guests who didn’t tidy up after themselves. The location worked well for us, making it easy to reach the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good and offered plenty of options for meat eaters, though vegetarians and especially vegans might find the selection quite limited, with only a few suitable choices. Overall, there were several positives—comfortable beds, helpful staff, convenient location, and good breakfast—but they didn’t fully outweigh the cleanliness and maintenance issues, especially given the price and our expectations for a property in this category. The stay was overall okay, but there were several problems that made it feel overpriced. Cleanliness could have been better, particularly in the bathroom. I have high standards, but the shower curtain was visibly mouldy and dirty at the bottom, which was unpleasant. It should be cleaned or replaced more often between guests. There were also maintenance issues: the shower head wasn’t working properly—the overhead shower clearly needed cleaning, and the handheld shower was leaking. The air conditioning didn’t work during our stay, even though it was a main reason we chose this property over cheaper options. The staff tried to fix it, but it never worked correctly. Luckily the weather wasn’t too hot, otherwise the room would have been very uncomfortable. Another inconvenience was the bathroom radiator, which couldn’t be turned on, so our towels never dried properly. Additionally, our first‑floor room was noisy at night, with guests dragging suitcases up and down the stairs and waking us in the middle of the night. Overall, the experience was acceptable, but I don’t feel it offered good value for money. Had the room been priced about 30% lower, I would likely have rated it much higher. At a price comparable to a 4‑star hotel, I expected a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort.
