The location was great, but the bed was small (double).

Compared to other places, it was priced well, but you pay for what you get. The rooms were nothing like the pictures, and it takes 6–8 minutes for hot water to come out of the shower but is instant at the basin, and then it’s really hard to control. It is a value‑for‑money hotel, and if you’re just staying overnight to rest your head, you might not care so much about the small things.

It’s so central, with in‑house breakfast and dinner if you don’t want to go out. The historic communal areas are nice, and the accommodation is clean, comfortable, and good value.
