“Gute Lage, aber keine 5 Sterne”

I stayed in a quiet spot close to the harbor, with restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket right around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings felt pretty new. Unfortunately the bathroom door was broken and I got locked in by accident, but the management promised to install new locks and even offered me a complimentary breakfast even though I hadn’t booked one. Overall it was okay. They handled the situation well, but I wouldn’t pay the same price again just for the stay. I see 5‑star hotels differently.

This was the second time we chose this place for our stay and everything was perfect. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were very courteous at every station.

It doesn’t live up to a 5‑star rating. The sheets weren’t pulled, there was no butter at breakfast, the fruit salad was canned, the orange juice was made from sweetened concentrate, and the bar was only served in Greek.
