Novotel Château de Versailles

The room was spotless and comfy, with a big bed that made for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a nice spread, and the room itself was spacious and modern, including a tidy bathroom. The in‑room fridge was handy for drinks, and there was a safe and a generous wardrobe. Plenty of towels were supplied. The staff were friendly. I initially missed the underground car park because the entrance was behind the building, but once I found it, I could get in simply by pressing the buzzer and the reception staff let me in. Parking was charged. The only downside was that the only way up from the basement to the hotel is by stairs.

I still feel puzzled when a place touts eco‑friendly practices yet swaps towels on its own. What’s the point? Also, the stairs from the parking feel a bit grimy.

The family room was great and the breakfast was good, plus the football table was a nice touch.

The location and parking were good. The room’s ambience felt a bit old‑fashioned. There was no lift from the car park to the hotel. The breakfast was mediocre.

The room was great, very comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent, especially Emanuel who helped us park and check in—thanks a lot. The location was fantastic. The hydration bar was an excellent idea. The only drawback was that we couldn’t find any outside seating areas.
