“Plongée réussie au coeur des sassi.”

We enjoyed staying in a stone block ideally located in the historic centre. Parking is hard to find, even in October, so we chose the nearby paid lot. We explored the historic centre thoroughly and ended our departure day at the Murgia Timone viewpoint, which gave us a new perspective on Matera. The only drawback was the lack of equipment: no table, only two chairs for three of us, and no dishes—no bowls for breakfast, no cutlery or glasses.
