Hotel Valle del Ambroz

“An excellent overnight stop half way from the north of Spain to the Algarve where we were heading.”

The room was well appointed and comfortable, and we had half board, enjoying the evening meal and breakfast. The old town of Hervas is definitely worth exploring and was a pleasant surprise. My phone didn’t like the security of the Internet, so I couldn’t view my emails.

The hotel’s location is ideal for visiting the famous old Jewish quarter, and parking is free and easy in a large car park behind the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the Menu del Dia dinner offers great value. We had a problem with our allocated room, but this was quickly resolved. Breakfast was extremely disappointing for a 4☆ hotel: no freshly cooked eggs, only a scant choice of fruit, sliced bread from a packet, and underwhelming pastries—very poor and not a good way to start your day!

The comfort, location, staff attention, cleanliness, and convenient parking were all excellent. I liked everything.

“Un hotel moderno que conserva la esencia de la tradición”

La ubicación excelente y el desayuno completo. La temperatura de la habitación no se podía regular y estaba helada. Apagué el aire y fue subiendo de temperatura, lo comenté en recepción porque creo que podrían solucionarlo para que cada cliente pueda regularlo a su gusto
