Getting here from the city is simple, and the walk to Newmarket shops is easy; the unit is compact, warm inside, and the curtains block street light well. Small touches like chocolate, a rug over the floor tiles, and provided shoes add to the charm. Breakfast was a nice addition with tasty cereal and toast. Access to the premises is straightforward and the instructions are clear. I wasn’t sure what to do with dirty breakfast dishes since there’s no kitchen sink; like 99% of places I’ve stayed at, bedside lamps aren’t bright enough for middle‑aged eyes to read by, but the overhead room light has a switch reachable from the bed.

Having a few small items for breakfast made the start of our day great; despite the location, we expected noise but it was pleasantly quiet.

The place is in a great spot, just a 5‑minute stroll to the train station and all the shops are right around the corner, but it’s on a main road so it can get a bit noisy.
