The location was central, the place was clean, and the people were nice. The room was at the back, no corridor, so the noise from crowds carried late into the night, and the glass collector and floor‑polishing machine ran very early in the morning.

“A great central location on old town Cadiz, within walking distance of the train station and bars”

This room sat in a prime spot in old town Cadiz, close enough to the train station and all the old town sights. There are loads of great bars and eateries right in the local plaza and on the nearby streets. The hostel manager spoke excellent English and was very friendly and helpful during my brief stay. I’d suggest taking the local bus to the Naval Museum at San Fernando, exploring the town and streets of San Fernando, and then walking along Playa de la Victoria back into Cadiz. Nothing to add.

The place was very clean, the windows insulated well against noise, and the location was ideal. I liked everything.
