The equipment was clean and brand‑new, but the room was freezing—no heaters, electric blankets, or air‑conditioning, so it felt uncomfortably cold in winter; at least two windows couldn’t close because they were broken, letting wind rush in all the time, and the exterior was dimly lit, giving a sense of insecurity; the back‑yard flats or rooms downstairs looked awful, suggesting a lack of burglar bars on the windows and a need for a security or trellidoor at the room’s entrance.

We appreciated the bed, mattress, linen, and towels, but the bathroom sink was tiny and inconvenient, with no space to store clothes or toiletries while showering; the shower’s water pressure was weak, there was no comfortable chair or couch, and the table chairs were flimsy.
