They offered a nice mix of hot and cold items, but the bed lamp’s charging station was still broken and the safety latch on the door didn’t work. We’d stayed in this room type back in May.

“In case of emergency, don't stay here”

The room was roomy and mostly clean, and the breakfast staff were very helpful and kind. However, the hotel handed my fully prepaid booking—under my name—to someone else even though they asked for ID, which could not match my unique name. I ended up not in my room, not in my booking, and it cost me a lot of time and stress after a long trip. They eventually found me a room, but I couldn’t put a card down for incidentals because the booking had already been checked in by another person under my name. The online photos showed a pool, but when we arrived it was unavailable, probably because of renovations we weren’t told about at booking or check‑in. One elevator and one emergency staircase were out of service, and the signage didn’t show a new emergency route. I needed first aid, but the kit had no bandages and wasn’t easily reachable. Breakfast times weren’t listed or given at check‑in or on the key folder, so we missed it several days as the times changed.

“Great hidden gem”

Front desk clerk Nyessa—if that’s her name—was fantastic. The hotel was fully booked and she handled everything with grace and elegance, staying calm the whole time. The side doors can’t be used to go in or out of the hotel, and you have to be careful entering the driveway. There’s a great EZ Café within walking distance; I highly recommend it. The food is delicious and the service is amazing.

“I still will stay there. But need to talk to your staff to be good to customers”

I stayed for a holiday and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work in my room; I told the staff at the counter but they couldn’t fix it or even change me to a room with Wi‑Fi. A tall young man and a white lady were horrible and mean to me. I had to wait about three days before a nice guy moved me to another room where the Wi‑Fi worked perfectly. The white lady and the young man kept telling me to call the Wi‑Fi company. What do they expect me to say? I’ve stayed here many times and liked the location, but this last experience was awful. I’m sure if it were a white person, they would have changed the room. Not nice.

“Good place to stay, will more than likely stay here again.”

The room was very good value for the price. The breakfast area was cramped; it could be opened up more so people aren’t crowded over each other trying to get food.
