Excellent stay in Sauternes on a working vineyard. We arrived at harvest time so the entire place was filled with workers picking the grapes for harvest. Accommodations are spacious, and well-appointed, with a few rooms in a large working vineyard house. Great service, breakfast, and sweet wines

Tout était parfait!. Prix de la chambre un peu élevé

The decoration and style of the chateau create a welcoming, homely vibe. The room was well arranged and had a truly comfortable bed. A little remedial work could be done on the shower threshold; the skirting board had disintegrated at the entrance to the showering area. The room comfort, breakfast service, and breakfast terrace were very pleasant under the parasol.

My son and I had a great time at Chateau Sigalas Rabaud, staying in a room that had windows all around. We enjoyed a private tour of the property and a wine tasting afterward, with Rebecca doing a fantastic job. We bought foie gras and wine at the chateau for a lovely dinner by the pool, which was pleasantly warm. The owner was very friendly and invited us to return during harvest, something I’d love to do. Celine in the kitchen was also very helpful. The only downside was that August was quite hot in this part of France; I’d prefer to visit in cooler months.
