“Absolutely Delightful”
Everything was absolutely delightful. The setting is wonderful, perched on the banks of the River Loire, a route we've driven many times, and staying here felt like a real treat. You can walk straight from the property to the riverbank, though you have to cross a busy road—yet the house is well shielded from it—and you can walk or cycle for a long stretch along the river. The old historic building is well preserved, with traditional fabric coverings on the walls, but the en‑suite is very modern and nicely finished. Sharing the communal kitchen and the lounge area with its huge old fireplace was great, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. A real delight.
