Paradise resort, Don Det river view

The room was large and offered a nice view, but it came without shampoo and the shower‑gel sachets were tiny; there was tea and coffee but no kettle, and breakfast boiled down to choosing between two plates, which felt thin for the price, especially off‑season.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Paradise Resort on Don Det and would gladly recommend it. The whole team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always helpful, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The resort’s in‑house travel agency was especially convenient, assisting us smoothly and reliably with various excursions and transport arrangements. The restaurant also impressed us; the food was consistently tasty and freshly prepared. Breakfast was good, though it mainly consisted of eggs in various forms. Those who love eggs will be very satisfied here, but a bit more variety would be appreciated.

The little terrace on the room offered a stunning view of the Mekong and its islands, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was in the bathtub, but there was no curtain or partition to prevent water from splashing into the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was average.

I was thoroughly impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality of the entire staff, particularly the owner, who went above and beyond to help us with our return to Pakse with our bicycles. The team's kindness and organization made a significant difference in our stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience.
