“Uma excelente surpresa em Selçuk: conforto, limpeza impecável, ambientes espaçosos e ótima hospitalidade, com a única re”
The Bela turned out to be a great surprise. It’s a small property, yet the comfort, care and presentation far exceed what one usually expects from this category. The rooms and common areas are especially spacious and pleasant. Ottoman‑inspired décor creates a warm atmosphere that fits the destination without sacrificing functionality. Everything is well organized and there’s a clear focus on guest comfort. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and fully equipped. The mattresses were excellent, the linens high quality, and there was plenty of space for luggage, a hanger and a good circulation area. We also received an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the ruins, which added to the experience. The bathroom deserves special mention, especially the shower: great pressure and a truly exceptional wash. The location is another strong point. The hotel sits in a central part of Selçuk, allowing easy walking access and making it a solid base for visiting Ephesus and the House of Mary. The hospitality and attention from the staff were excellent. The only thing that clearly fell below the hotel’s standard was breakfast. It was by far the weakest we had during our trip through Turkey. The fruit seemed to have been cut well in advance and was presented in pre‑arranged plates. The coffee with milk was served cold, and even after we asked for hot milk, the amount provided was insufficient for three people. The staff member in charge of breakfast also did not match the level of hospitality of the rest of the team. She kept smoking on the balcony during service, occupying a very pleasant space that could have been available to guests. The breakfast was the sole negative point, falling far short of the excellent standard of the rest of the stay, both in food quality and presentation and in the service of the breakfast staff.

Great location. The rooms were too small, with no space even to put luggage. The shower box was very poorly maintained. The external air‑conditioning unit was attached to the window.

Great location, lovely rooftop restaurant, friendly helpful staff, wifi worked, clean and comfortable. There were no staff in the morning and often the staff available do not speak English. They are still friendly and iPhone translator does the trick.
Nice location, a bit off the main road and just opposite the castle, 5 minutes from the shopping centre. The breakfast was varied, but the sweet side only had homemade jams in small plastic jars.
