Thon Hotel Tromsø is a modern, central hotel located near Storgata, Tromsø's main shopping street. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, bright and stylish guest rooms with minibar, TV, and private bathroom. A breakfast buffet is served in the contemporary dining room. The hotel is close to the Polar Museum, Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal, and Tromsø Lufthavn Airport, within a 10-minute drive.

As always, Thon guarantees quality. The breakfast was huge and the rooms were comfortable.

The location was great, the breakfast was good, and the price was reasonable for Norway and a city centre; however, I had stayed here three times before and always booked the cheapest room category. This time they put us on the ground floor directly opposite the breakfast room, which would have been incredibly loud. I booked in February, but it seems that doesn’t help—someone always gets those rooms. For early bookers and a 6‑night stay, it should at least be on the 1st floor.

The location is central, breakfast is good, and the room is spacious, but the mattress and pillow are not comfortable at all, and the bathroom is small—there’s no space to put things.

The location and breakfast were good, but the room was tiny, the bed uncomfortable, the window wouldn't open, and parking near the hotel was a problem.
