Lime Tree Bay Resort occupies a quarter-mile private beach on Long Key, between Islamorada and Marathon. The resort features bright, spacious rooms with flat-screen TVs, microwaves, and refrigerators, plus two swimming pools. Guests enjoy free boat docking, a tennis court, fishing dock, sea kayaks, paddle boards, and barbecue facilities. A sandy beach with hammocks and loungers, and The Florida Boy Bar and Grill are also on site.

The value was great and the resort’s responsiveness was excellent. The staff were all very nice and quick to provide what we needed. The AC worked perfectly. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies we required and the fridge was large enough for all the food and drinks we brought. The cleaning lady did basically nothing: she only made beds and only if the bedroom door was open. She didn’t restock or clean or provide fresh towels, so I had to call for fresh towels. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows felt like rocks. The TV in one of the rooms was very slow to respond to a button push and had a little mess at the bottom of the screen, about an inch or two.

Stunning location. The sunsets were the most beautiful.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms and pleasant staff. There wasn’t really anything major to complain about, but the bathroom could use a shelf and a couple of hooks because the space is limited. A “do not disturb” sign outside the door would also help if you don’t want daily maid service.
