“Good outside bad inside.....”

The landscaping was nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive; they even organized group activities at night, a first for me. The breakfast was awful and they clearly didn't know how to prepare South Indian food. Lunch and dinner were okay, but the cabin rooms we chose smelled musty, mainly from the naphthalene balls, and could use a better air freshener. The lighting inside the rooms was dull and the interior design could be improved. I wouldn't recommend the wooden cabin rooms for those reasons.

“Not a pleasant stay”

The only thing I liked was the breakfast and the restaurant staff. The front office staff member Nancy was very rude. The rooms were okay but there were frequent power fluctuations. The hotel charges a lot for standard rooms yet offers no immediate backup power; I had to call reception repeatedly to switch on the DG. One night the power went out at 12 am and they didn't restore it until 3 am unless I called again. When I asked about it the next morning, they had no answer.

The food was below average and there was no running hot water in the rooms.

The property and location were fine. The rooms were poorly maintained, had a strong odor, the taps leaked, and the bathroom bolts/handles were in bad shape. They mopped again after check‑in. The restaurant offered very few food options, even refusing items listed on the menu. Service took a long time. Breakfast had only pongal (rice/dal) with no pepper, and the idly was rock‑hard while the sambar was good. Spa prices differed from the website, and there was no communication—front desk said snacks would be available in the evening, but the restaurant said otherwise. For coffee/tea they claimed a 30‑minute wait. Even after paying bills for the restaurant or spa, the final bill still included them. Not worth the money charged.

“Really nice resort with maintenance issue”

The natural setting was calm and pleasant, and if you enjoy staying close to nature I'd give it 9 out of 10; the food quality was excellent. However, villa maintenance could be better: one washroom was leaking, another had flushing issues, vegetarian options were very limited and most were unavailable, chapatis were readymade, and wheat parantha was missing.
