“Great mid-tier accommodation for a fair price.”
If you bring a bike, it’s fine. The lake right in front isn’t very representative right now and smells a bit toward the end of the day, but I doubt it will stay like that. Compared to other places in high season, the price‑to‑value was decent. The caretakers are okay, but don’t expect resort‑level services; they’re kind and willing to help. The lake’s odor is a minor issue. It’s suitable for solo travelers or younger crowds. I wouldn’t bring my wife or family, but I’d stay again as a 40‑year‑old man who doesn’t need a lot of luxury.
We visited ten hotels across Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Krabi, and our last night was near Krabi International Airport because we had a flight at 6:30 PM the next day. This place was truly special and unforgettable. It sits in a beautiful natural setting with mountains, mango and coconut trees, a small canal, and even monkeys. There’s a tiny pool with a stunning mountain view. The vibe was peaceful, natural, and very relaxing. What made it exceptional was one of the staff members and his wife. He works there, and they’re among the kindest and most generous people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family. He personally dropped us off in town with his tuk‑tuk, waited for us, and charged much less than others. On our departure day, we checked out at 12 noon, but our flight was at 6:30 PM, and they let us stay and rest outside for an extra four hours. He brought us a fan, a bed, and chairs so we could be comfortable while waiting. They also gave us fresh coconut and mango from their trees, and his wife kindly let us use the washroom before leaving. Finally, he arranged a taxi to the airport. Their kindness, hospitality, and genuine care truly touched us. Even after returning to Dubai, we’re still thinking about them. If we ever come back to Thailand, we’ll definitely stay there again—this time for a longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and true hospitality. Everything was good.
“Lieu typique qui pourrait grandement être amélioré et devenir génial ! Il faut nettoyer les alentours et changer la lite”
The authentic vibe and the staff’s friendliness stood out. The place was dirty, which is a shame because it could have been great! The beds were also very uncomfortable.
“Emplacement peu engageant. Odeurs ! Vase !”
The staff were available. They only spoke Thai.
“Excellent”
The rooms were small but clean. The owners (a couple) are both super friendly and helpful. They don’t speak English, so communication goes through Google Translate, which works fine. The location is a bit far from the city center—about 10 minutes by scooter. The owner can arrange a scooter for you from 250 bath per day (February 2026).
