The hotel is right in Sultanahmet, which is a fantastic location, though the street is busy and the price reflects that. The rooms are a bit cramped, but the owners were friendly and the tiny market on the ground floor has everything you could need, making it excellent value for money.

A very cheap hotel in a decent location with friendly, helpful staff. The room, however, was heavily worn, cramped, noisy, on the fourth floor reachable only by narrow, winding stairs; the TV only turned on after we asked and offered just internet channels, the air‑conditioning didn’t work and we had to request a hair‑dryer.

The owners were friendly, but when I arrived at Asitane Life Hotel there were no vacant rooms, so they sent me to Bach Blue Marmara Suites Hotel where that night there was no hot water and I was told I could stay only one night. In the morning I tried to check out, the staff said I didn’t need to because I would stay, then that evening they kicked me out without explanation, leaving me on the street at 22:30.
