The hotel is in a great location, very close to Kapana, and the building has also been renovated. Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, especially considering the price. The bathroom was not properly cleaned — there was hair left behind and the sink had clearly not been cleaned. The room was also quite noisy, and the windows did not provide good sound insulation, so we could hear a lot from outside. The stairs are very narrow, which makes carrying luggage up and down extremely difficult. It would be helpful if the hotel offered assistance with luggage, especially for guests with larger suitcases. The price simply does not match the quality and overall experience. It was also unclear when breakfast was served. We found it strange that some rooms included breakfast while others did not, without this being particularly clear. Overall, there are several areas that need improvement, especially cleanliness, sound insulation, luggage assistance, and clearer information about what is included in the room rate.

The bed was comfy and the location was great, but breakfast was “included” and was cold and left on reception; it was not as advertised, which was ordering what you wanted from the cafe attached. Many of us had dietary restrictions – it was actually really, really poor; and the staff got angry when we tried to explain why we didn’t want food left out for 5 hours. Absolute joke.

The place sits right at the bottom of Main Street, so easy to get around. The staff were super helpful and quick to reply when I messaged them. The bed was comfy and the room had everything I needed. I was on crutches and had a heavy suitcase, so the lack of a lift was a real hassle. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming – just a boxed sandwich and a can of energy drink – but there are plenty of other spots to eat nearby. If you’re just after a decent bed and a simple room for a night or two, this works.

I was only a ten‑minute walk from the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv, which was great. The room was quiet and clean, and the virtual reception staff were helpful and kind.
