The hotel is fairly close to the KIT-Campus Nord, but it’s housed in a 60‑year‑old concrete block with a flat roof that heats up intensely on sunny summer days, making the rooms unbearably hot all night since there’s no air conditioning. The booked breakfast was missing. The staff member I called on the listed number sent me and another guest to a bakery about 10 minutes on foot because the breakfast staff were allegedly absent without excuse. He promised that both the paid hotel breakfast and the bakery bill would be fully refunded, which never happened. The hotel sits at a busy intersection, so it’s quite noisy. It’s rundown. During my entire stay from about 21:00 to roughly 07:30 the next morning, no staff were on site.

“Sehr einfache Unterkunft in der Nähe des KIT.”

The location is good with a short link to KIT. The furnishings were very sparse, and communication with staff was only possible with significant delay.

“Good for a short stay”

Being right next to the bus and tram stop made the location perfect for what I needed; the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I never got a code for the reception door, had to call the number twice—first to get in and then to find out which room I was in, since there was no name or anything on the reception desk.
