Casa Al Vicolo

“Ar trebui ca proprietarul să se gândească mai mult la oaspeți și mai puțin la contul bancar.”

The pension’s accommodation is perfect, with a terrace offering a panoramic view. The linen seemed unwashed and was not changed during the stay. The dining area is in full sun and a bit hard to reach.

“Soggiorno piacevole e adatto per godere della bellissima Taormina !”

The hotel sits almost right next to the city centre and the cable‑car to the sea, and the staff were clean and friendly! Check‑in and check‑out were quick, and you could drop off and pick up luggage before and after the stay. Breakfast was great, served on the terrace, though you have to climb a spiral staircase to get there – let guests know about that so they don’t trip up if they’re not very agile. The room was spacious and tidy, but it was on the ground floor with windows only opening onto the street, so it wasn’t suitable to keep the door open for fresh air – you’re limited to the air‑conditioning.
