Just a few kilometers from Merano centre, the owner is available, gives useful info, speaks perfect Italian, and I recommend a dinner at FORST; the welcome was superb. The hotel has no ramp for elderly or those with heavy luggage, and there’s currently no elevator, which could be inconvenient unless you’re athletic.

The owners’ service was phenomenal, the food was varied and delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Wi‑Fi signal was spotty, but that didn’t matter much to me.

A B&B that’s more than enough, run by a nice couple, with a hearty breakfast and especially good coffee specialties.

Everything was friendly and very clean, and the staff gave great information about public transport before arrival; the breakfast was amazing. It’s right on a heavily trafficked main road, so Oropax is ready. If you’re very noise‑sensitive or dislike propane, this isn’t ideal.

The accommodation is a bit outside Merano, which isn’t an issue at all. Parking is available, the reception is very friendly, and we were escorted to our room where everything was shown and explained. Breakfast was fine and had something for everyone. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable, making it perfect for a short stay. However, our room faced the busy main road, so traffic noise was fairly loud; I had to keep the window shut, which I’m not used to. Earplugs were on the desk, but they didn’t help me sleep.
