I was right in the middle of town, the staff were super helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean and modern.

“Comfy beds and “no frills” clean rooms”

The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfy; the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had no frills but was served promptly and cooked well. The exterior of the property needs painting and renovation, and the stair and landing carpets are old and worn. The whole place had an unpleasant fried‑food smell. The bedrooms were clean, freshly painted, and decorated but very sparsely furnished and missing any homely touches like pictures. Bedside cabinets were too small, too low, and the bedside lights were dim with no shade and orange decorative bulbs. There was nowhere to store toiletries, and the bathroom had no hooks for towels or reading gowns.
