The place was fresh and new, but overall it felt grumpy. The furniture was odd, like the dining table and chairs, and the wall had a half‑polished paint that looked ugly. The view was okay, but the parking right outside the window was annoying, and the gravel was noisy and stupid.

The hotel is currently being renovated, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. The parking is just below the building but is unpaved; if you don’t drive, there’s no point staying here.

The view was incredible! Unfortunately, a new restaurant was under construction at the time.

The view was always great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The drain in the bathroom was clogged and full of old sludge; a routine for clearing the drains should be set up. I’ve stayed here three times and each time the bathroom cleaning is what I’m pointing out.

“Truely a basecamp for skiing enthusiasts, not so much a hotel for city or hiking tourists.”

The rooms were clean, practical, and came with fully equipped kitchenettes. It feels more like a motel than a hotel, but it works well for skiing enthusiasts.
