The hotel is in a well‑served area with plenty of buses and metros, which is a real plus. Our room was comfy and came with all the necessary gear, including a kettle for evening tea. Breakfast was hearty and varied: English breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans, and croissants, plus cereals, toast, and fruit yoghurts. The kitchen and service ladies were lovely, truly sunny personalities.

“Soggiorno nel cuore di Londra”

The place sits in a great spot, just two metro stops away, and the reception staff are always on hand. Breakfast was solid. The room is small but has everything you need, and the bed is comfortable even though it’s a French style. The only downside was the cleanliness, especially in the shared bathroom with other rooms. I’d suggest improving the cleaning routine and leaving cleaning supplies in the bathroom so guests can tidy it themselves.

“It was a great location and the staff were professional and nice.”

The staff were cheerful and very helpful. The carpets were dirty in some spots, there was mould in the bathroom, and the kettle was dusty.

“Excellent value in the heart of London”

I scored it a perfect 10. The last‑minute deal was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the old Regency house was fantastic—clean, simple, and great value. The bathroom was shared with two other rooms, but I didn’t notice anyone else using it. Breakfast was included, and I could shelter from the rain on an outdoor patio under a large parasol. Everything was just 3 minutes from Queensway tube and 2 minutes across the road to Hyde Park—what’s not to love? The only note: breakfast could have offered more options for dietary needs, but for the price, no complaints.
