I stayed for two days in a room here and the service was amazing. The host Ana is extremely hospitable, kind, attentive, helpful and friendly. She assisted me with everything I needed and made breakfast with great care. The place is surreal! You stay inside a typical Portuguese house with a beautiful view right up close, and it feels like living in a real Portuguese home. The environment is clean, calm and cozy, and the room is fantastic. Highly recommend! Next time I return to Coimbra, I’ll definitely want to stay here again.

Absolutely superb in every way. I just loved the experience in such an old and historic place. Ana was a delight and so helpful. The section was lovely.

This is a fabulous, unusual luxury apartment that feels special. It has a disheveled elegance (and it is HUGE) that was a delightful change from cookie cutter places. The bathroom for one of the bedrooms is tiny, and it was hot (but we were able to get a fan). There was loud student noise at 6 AM

The house sits in a perfect spot for walking around the city and grabbing a bite, and the street and terrace give a great view of the river and the opposite shore, though parking in town is a bit tricky; Ana was an outstanding, very friendly and empathetic host who went to great lengths to arrange suitable gluten‑free and lactose‑free foods for me, and the breakfast was delicious.
