The room was tidy and pleasant, but the gas heater kept stopping mid‑night while we needed warmth, the TV remote didn’t work and the TV stayed on all night, and when we filed a complaint they didn’t help.

The place looks stunning by day and night, the pool is inviting and the outdoor seating welcomes you; the scent is pleasant from the moment you step in, the white bedding is clean, and there’s both a gas heater and air‑conditioning. I loved the elegant bathrooms that have both a bath and a shower, and I’m grateful to Don, a great host who made sure we had everything we needed; I’ll definitely book again. The lounge TV was broken, but the spacious bedrooms let us sit together and watch in one room as a family. Belfast gets cold in winter, so a carpet in the lounge would help, and the front door handle needs fixing, otherwise the place is wonderful and we loved it.

The directions are simple, the lodge looks great, the staff are very hospitable, and the rooms are beautiful, but there was no hot water and the rooms had a slight odor.
