The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the building looks like an old Japanese house that’s been converted into a hostel; they even let you leave your luggage after checkout so you can explore without the heavy bags. Because it’s an old house in a residential area, they don’t allow noise in the evenings and at night, but the next room seemed to have a mini‑party and the thin walls made it hard to fall asleep.

It’s an old house, but the cleaning is good and the shared spaces are comfortable; having a record player is a nice touch. The balcony is also pleasant, and there’s a supermarket nearby, so shopping was easy.

The room has tatami space in addition to the bed, which made packing and relaxing easier, and there’s a public bath close by.

静かな環境、スタッフさんと沢山話しができてとてもリラックスして過ごせました。1人旅でも人と話せると少しホッとします。 銭湯やスーパーも近くを教えて頂けたのも良かったです 朝は備えてられていたコーヒーと買ってきたパンをテラスで頂きました。. 建具の開閉時に音をたてるので他の方に少し気を遣います。けれどそれも古い民家に滞在する良さの一つかも、と捉えています

The location is good, the owner is very welcoming, and there are many facilities like a kitchen and washing machine; in autumn the balcony is cool and comfortable. However, there are a few bugs on the balcony (after I used mosquito repellent), and the traditional Japanese house has poor sound insulation, so you can feel what the other rooms are doing.
