“Paradise”
Four nights in paradise! My beach‑side bungalow felt like a true home away from home. The bed and air‑conditioning were incredibly comfortable, the spot was quiet, and I adored the nighttime sounds of crashing waves and gecko calls. Being an early bird, the private balcony was ideal for morning tea—always restocked—while I watched the sunrise and fishermen heading out in their jukungs. The team was meticulous about cleanliness and safety, going the extra mile to help with anything I needed. The pool was a delight, offering plenty of shade or sun, lounge chairs, and a lovely aromatic garden surrounding it. Breakfast was “next level” delicious at the gorgeous café and rooftop restaurant, which offered stunning sunset views of Mt Agung; it was the perfect spot to unwind after a hard day, with fantastic cocktails and food. Once again, the staff were welcoming and efficient. Amed is a charming part of Bali with a European vibe, where you can practice French at a local warung while enjoying the freshest Indonesian food. As an Australian, I thought the snorkeling was good, but Amed and its surroundings…OMG! Don’t worry if your muscles feel sore after all that swimming—just head to Panda Spa and Beauty for a tough (but effective) massage that works out those knots. I absolutely loved my visit to Amed and my stay at Solaluna. I can’t wait to return! A huge thank you to everyone. 🙏
