Tayahatun Hotel

The staff were very kind, courteous and always ready to help with any request. On the first day the climate control in the room was not working and there was no cover, but that wasn’t mentioned to us. Luckily the second day they fixed it.

We stayed at Tayahatun Hotel and it was a great experience. The room was small but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Every morning the breakfast spread was tasty and varied a little each day. The hotel sits right in the heart of Istanbul, in the calm Sirkeci district, just a short walk from Sultanahmet and other major sights, and public transport is within easy reach. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Having an elevator was a big plus for us. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was decent, with the front desk preparing tea and coffee and asking what you needed; the taste was typical of a hotel breakfast. The location was good, close to attractions, trams, and the airport shuttle. The service staff were very friendly. The room was a bit small.
