“Great location however spoiled by the bed bugs”

The spot is right in the city center, and the check‑in directions were clear and helpful. I felt secure with several locked doors, and the room had a certain charm. My husband and I, however, ended up with a fair number of bed‑bug bites, which really dampened the experience. The place can get a bit noisy, and sometimes there’s a foul smell from the restaurant below after closing, but that’s expected given the location and it didn’t disturb our sleep.

The room’s location is great—right in historic Rome and within walking distance of all the main sights. It’s spacious, and breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Antica Dimora Delle Conque Lunar, just a two‑minute walk away, featuring a stunning rooftop bar overlooking Rome’s rooftops. Antica Dimora Del'Orso isn’t really a hotel; it’s just a few rooms in a historic building down a small alley, with no reception or extra facilities beyond the room itself. Cleaning was daily, which was good, but check‑in, check‑out, and breakfast required a short walk to the sister hotel.

De plek, het personeel, de privacy. Helemaal top. Weinig, niet alle stekkeraansluitingen deden het. Dat maakte het charmant maar ook onhandig als je telefoon de volgende dag niet is opgeladen
