The lunch at Hotel Heiden offered a wide selection, was very good, and featured a superb view of Lake Constance. The sheets were clean. The cleaning was rough; there were crumbs from previous guests on the table and floor. It seemed no deep cleaning had happened in a long time. Old and clean are not incompatible; at Park it's old and dirty. The place had no soul, the furniture was mismatched and worn. The women's toilets did not lock. Even with the shutters closed and on the Kursaal side, traffic and other guests could be heard, with heavy footsteps at 1 a.m.

The accommodation is simple but very clean. Breakfast at the nearby Hotel Heiden was excellent, and the price/quality ratio is right. The Veloraum on the ground floor is practical, and there’s a parking spot directly in front of the house.
