The home‑like atmosphere was great, but the breakfast was very modest. The door‑opening codes didn't work, and I had to ask the staff to set up the IT several times.

“Not the best stay”

The room matched the photos exactly, with luxurious furniture, a bathroom, and bedding. The location was good, right in the old town amid cobblestone streets. Upon arrival, we discovered the fridge was broken (plugging it in produced a strange clicking noise and it never cooled after at least half an hour). We spoke to the reception guy, who “allowed” us to use a staff fridge in a communal garden area, but that fridge was locked from 6 pm and we had to walk around the block to a door on a different street—unideal when we had breakfast items and drinks that we wanted in the room. There was also an air‑conditioning unit placed on the floor, which seemed not to work properly; even though the room stayed cool, the floor was constantly wet and everything felt damp. We unpacked our suitcases at the next hotel after staying here and all our clothes felt damp; I don’t think the unit was venting outside correctly. We would have reported this at check‑out, but there was no one at the desk when we left and another staff member was busy elsewhere and ignored us. Since we had already paid online, we just decided to leave! Also a warning to anyone prone to insect bites… I managed a whole week in northern Slovenia without being bitten, applying jungle formula each evening, but I suffered three bites while sitting on the balcony in the morning here, thinking mosquitoes wouldn’t be around—I was wrong!!

A very good location, friendly staff, and air conditioning in the room. The place is poorly sound‑proofed, the terrace faces a wall, breakfast is very basic, and the room is poorly ventilated with humidity.

I like that the property is in the center, making it quicker to reach the city center. I didn’t like the balcony, which is why I give it 9 out of 10. Overall, it was pretty good.

“Centrale locatie en fijne kamer.”

The spot was great, though finding the tiny alleys took a moment, but everything worked out. Parking was a bit farther away. The outdoor seating was perfect, and even though breakfast wasn’t served, we still got croissants, fruit, and coffee. The air‑conditioning smelled awful, so we hardly used it, making the room a little warm, but we didn’t let it ruin our stay.
