I was given a room that wasn’t the one I had booked; it was a roof‑covered space with no windows, a tiny glass pane in the ceiling, and it felt like a closet. The next day we were told the confirmed room was full and that we’d been upgraded to a larger room, but only after we requested 3 or 4 extra days. I didn’t have the energy to move again, and my wife hit her head three times while trying to reach the wardrobe, finally getting hurt on the last attempt. I’m 1.48 m tall, so I even hit the ceiling. The room we received had no window, just a small glass in the ceiling, and when the curtains were open it was warm and we could see the balcony of the building opposite; when closed it was dark and stuffy. The room shown on Booking’s photos was completely different.
