The owners were incredibly friendly and the spot was spot on. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was great because they served a traditional spread instead of the usual jam and bread. Overall, the value was amazing.

The location, balcony, and nice owners were great; there was no breakfast on the second day but they refunded us and it was no problem for us. Very flexible.

We stayed in this room for one night. We came to Dambulla to visit the cave temple, which we walked to. The owners were very hospitable and treated us to a welcome tea upon arrival. In the evening the host cooked rice with curry – a traditional dish for the Lankans – and even tried to match our spiciness preferences. The portions were huge. Sitting in the garden at night and listening to nature sounds was pure pleasure. There were no negatives.
