The place was stunning, every little detail had been carefully planned. Angela, the host, really cares about her work and makes each guest feel special and welcomed. The afternoon tea and breakfast were top‑tier quality, something you rarely encounter nowadays. Nothing to complain about.

The décor was very tasteful antique style with all the modern conveniences; the host was kind and helpful, and they prepared afternoon tea and scones on our arrival, which was a real treat. I loved it.

The grounds and gardens are lovely; the Georgian property has been tastefully restored with a perfect balance of style and comfort. Nothing immediately springs to mind.

Angela has such a warm personality that you feel at home right away; you’re welcomed with homemade scones and jam made from garden fruit. The house is beautifully furnished and the garden is the size of a park, including a vegetable garden. Angela goes to great lengths—booking restaurants, giving walking tips, and you even get her sense of humor for free. It’s a pity we only stayed two nights; we’d like more. Absolutely nothing else.
